Tuxedo Formal Wear

What Color is Your Monkey Suit?

Wearing tuxedo formal wear or a monkey suit as some guys call it, makes a statement. Dressing appropriately for the occasion also assures a no hassle thought about "what do I wear". Whether you are part of a bridal party, attending a prom, or some other important occasion, you will want to look your best. New colors and styles are added each season. You can match your date’s gown or blend a complete wedding party together. If you are solo, pick your favorite color to make those eyes irresistible. Hey, maybe this is the night to impress someone special. You can find tips on how to wear a tux at Tuxedo FQA to make that first impression right.

Why would you want to get all dressed up in Tuxedo Formal Wear?

Well, this brings me to a story about my son. It was high school prom season and he had a date with this charming little gal who had a gown custom created for the occasion. Don't get me wrong, she would have had it custom created whether she was going to Prom with him or someone else. She was after a look that no one else would be wearing. Anyway, I asked him about renting a tux. He ignored me on several occasions. One day, I finally cornered him. Mind you, it was now only a couple weeks prior. He went on about how he had other clothes that would fit the occasion.

Ya-da, Ya-da, and more Ya-da.

Can You Hear With Your Ears?

This was unacceptable with mom. "But Mom, why do I have to wear a tuxedo"? I had several reasons which any child would have go in one ear and out the other but we won't go there. It's mom's turn.

Ya-da, Ya-da and more Ya-da.

It's like this, the guy gets his car just spotless inside and out. The chrome rims shine so much his gal could check her make-up in them. You can literally eat off the floor. It looks so good it gets that double look from all the other guys. Maybe even a little GREEN with envy.

Anyway, my point was when you go pick up this gal, and see her all dolled up and say "WOW", at least she can say the same about you. That was the end of the story. He went to get measured for a tux.

Mom felt much better. Dad even got a picture of us during the parent's dance. I think there must be other moms like me out there.

This photo is of my son and his friends. Hmmm, I wonder what their moms went through.
